Here at ALBION ELT, we are a husband and wife team. I am Adam, the Director of Studies and course tutor, and have been teaching EFL and ESOL for more than ten years.

I completed my BA Honours Degree in English Language & Linguistics/French Studies at the University of Leeds in 1993, before training to teach ESOL later the same year.

I first taught EFL at a secondary school in Katowice, Poland.

As ALBION ELT develops, we both look forward to employing more course tutors in the near future.

I then spent three years teaching EFL, IELTS and EAP (English for Academic Purposes) - including Oxford Brookes University's International Foundation Diploma - at two universities in Istanbul, Turkey. Having met and married my wife there in 1997, we returned to the UK, where I completed my Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Durham. Our son, Leo, was born during this period and his sister, Sonia, was born one year later.

More recently, I worked at Suffolk College from 2001 to 2006 where I taught ESOL. I was also an ESOL teacher trainer at West Suffolk College, as well as Suffolk College. I have been working as an assistant examiner for the University of Cambridge since 1999 and have been involved in marking a range of both EFL and ESOL examinations.

I am Songül, the company and course administrator and admissions officer. I completed my Masters Degree in Human Resources Management at the University of Istanbul, Turkey and worked in a similar role at a renowned language school in Istanbul. Before moving to the UK, I spent a number of years working at the Istanbul Stock Exchange as a personnel officer.

We look forward to welcoming our students and helping them to achieve their personal goals. We aim to make their time with us an enjoyable experience.
